Commission Portrait Paintings by Trena Woods-WARD
Standard sizes and prices for my commissioned art work are listed below. The prices listed
are for a regular background. PLEASE inquire for quotes on detailed background. My
pastel portraits are painted on archival quality paper and stretched canvas for oil paint.
Additional figures are extra, as detailed in the Fees schedule.
Travel, accommodations, framing, delivery charges and sales tax (if applicable) are
additional. The Paintings will be shipped unframed unless YOU want Ward Art Gallery to
have the painting professionally AND artistically framed at a cost.
I can work from photographs or video of subject for portraits. I have provided for you Tips for
taking photos of people and that of pets that would provide photos best for painting from. It
is important that I have a detailed description of the person/pet's personality and as many
quality photos as possible to work from. I require one third (nonrefundable) deposit on all
commissions to be paid upfront in order to reserve calendar time for the completion of your
portrait.
Here is the procedures that I, Trena, goes through in painting your portrait from life and
continuing from photos she takes of you I will e-mail you after I receive your order to confirm
it and ask any questions that I may have before beginning your portrait.
I will send a computer scan of the portrait when it is about 3/4 done for your feedback and
approval. Changes if needed, can be made at that point and another 1/3 of payment towards
painting is due at that time before I will continue. When painting is finished I will send you a
scan/digital picture of it and After your final approval, the balance of the portrait cost is due
and then your painting will be shipped fully insured to you along with your photographs. I
accept PayPal if you would like to make payment by Visa or Mastercard.
It usually takes about 6 to 12 months to complete a painting depending on the degree of
difficulty involved and how many other orders I am working on. BUT, If you want the painting
done faster and are in a rush to have it completed, the price of the painting IS doubled.
Paintings will be shipped unframed unless YOU want Ward Art Gallery to have the
painting professionally AND artistically framed at a cost.
Shipping Charges for professional packing, shipment will be additional and paid by buyer
unless you are a member of Team National where there will be 50% off of your shipping &
packing charges.
